It’s a lie.

you’re not pretty enough.

you’re not man enough.

you’re not smart enough.

you’re too annoying.

you’re too easily swayed.

you’re too arrogant.

It’s sad that the list can go on. But these lies usually consolidate to you’re not enough or you’re too much. And they’re directed to you as a form of spiritual attack. They bring up your past, haunt you in the present, and threaten your future. 

But no. You must refuse and take a hold of your life. If you feel you have no where to go but up, then that’s exactly what it is. Be willing to break free from those pathetic chains of twine, those lies that keep you from running free.

Are you willing? 

Because that’s all it takes. Our God delights in making broken things new, and to be used for His glory, so come as you are. Take it day by day, and the rest will follow. He’s here with arms wide open ready to embrace you.
